3 Inexpensive Dupes for Supergoop’s Best-selling Sunscreens!

Here are 3 inexpensive dupes for Supergoop’s best-selling sunscreens!

Supergoop! Unseen Sunscreen SPF 40 - $38

This has a clear Vaseline texture that soaks into the skin. It blends in with a clear texture, and it stays this way throughout the day. It gives you a dewy sheen, and it’s absolutely gorgeous. Unfortunately, it’s $38. And although it’s an amazing formula, it’s expensive.

Dupe: Trader Joe’s Daily Facial Sunscreen SPF 40 - $8.99

This is an amazing dupe. It feels just like the Unseen Sunscreen. Both are waterproof and both are SPF 40, vegan, cruelty-free, and oil-free. But, it’s worth noting that this one did break Cassandra out.

Supergoop! Glowscreen SPF 40 - $38

This is similar to the Unseen Sunscreen, and it has a very similar texture. The difference is that this has glowy pigments, and it’s a little less heavy on the skin. It feels more like a lightweight foundation rather than a primer. It’s gorgeous and glowy but also a little expensive.

Dupe: ELF Suntouchable Whoa Glow Broad Spectrum SPF 30 Sunscreen - $14

This is an SPF 30 whereas the Supergoop Glowscreen is an SPF 40. Upon applying it, you can tell there is a bit of a difference. The Supergoop one is a slightly darker color, and it blends in better whereas the E.L.F cosmetic applies more tinted and pasty.

However, the E.L.F one does change colors as your rub it in. Even though the E.L.F Suntouchable takes a while to rub in, but when it does, it turns a very pretty golden color.

Ultimately, the E.L.F Suntouchable ended up looking like a highlight on Cassandra’s skin, but when she wore it throughout the day, she didn’t notice a huge difference between the two products.

Both the Supergoop Glowscreen and the ELF Suntouchable provide the skin with a little bit of glow, but the E.L.F one is more iridescent. It actually includes glitter, zinc, and mica. So, if you have sensitive skin, this might not be your best bet. But, for most people, these are incredibly similar.

Furthermore, the Supergoop one is more lightweight, but the E.L.F Suntouchable is a heavier product. However, there is not a very noticeable difference in texture, and both of them would work well for a glowy look under foundation.

Supergoop! Invincible Setting Powder SPF 45 - $35

SPF powders do not give you the same coverage as applying your SPF. They’re great for reapplication but not for primary application. This is a mineral sunscreen that you can brush onto your face and hairline if you’re in the sun. What Cassandra hated about this was how fast she went through it.

Jane iredale Powder-Me SPF 30 Dry Sunscreen - $50

This combines makeup and sunscreen. Although it’s not cheaper, this is probably one of the most skin-friendly choices Cassandra has ever made, and it last much longer. If you’re really into makeup, and you want something that looks and feels similar to makeup on skin, this works fantastically.  You can pop the makeup brush up and down. The brush is very luxurious, tapered, and it offers really good coverage. Plus, it’s much easier to clean thoroughly.
