Here Are 5 Products Almost Guaranteed to Sell out in 2023!

Here are five new skincare and beauty launches that are almost guaranteed to sell out. We're going to talk about the products Cassandra believes will sell out and why. We'll cover sunscreens, retinols, makeup/skincare hybrid products, and skincare oils. If you’re looking to get that laminated skin trend or just healthy skin with a good barrier, this is where to start.

Good Molecules Sheer Mineral Sunscreen SPF 30 -$12

Let’s start off with this sunscreen from Good Molecules. This is the Sheer Mineral Sunscreen SPF 30, and it is $12. There is so much product in this container for $12. A sheer mineral sunscreen that looks so good is very hard to find at this price.

Good molecules always does a good job when it comes to value, and they are available online and at Ulta. People love this sunscreen and even doctors and dermatologists have been raving about this. Although this is a mineral sunscreen, it is much more sheer than others on the market.

Cassandra is not a Fitzpatrick level type 6 so she hasn’t tested this on deeper-toned skin. But, from her experience, it goes on so well with just a swipe of your two fingers. However, it’s not the most mattifying. The grapeseed oil acts as a wonderful antioxidant, but it will not give you a mattified look.

This SPF has some seed butters that are very nourishing and a little moisturizing to the skin, but if you’re looking for a dewy skin glow,  you can use this along with Ole Henrikson.

Ole Henriksen Hydrabarrier Nourishing Face Oil -$58

This is an oil that helps to nourish the skin and strengthen the skin barrier without feeling overly greasy or heavy. This is a beautiful antioxidant boost. You can use it by itself or over a moisturizer to lock this in.

This oil absorbs so beautifully, and it gives you such a hydrated glow. Because the laminated skin trend is in right now, you could use this alongside another moisturizer or even Vaseline if you wanted a laminated skin look. But, even if you have oily skin, you can make it work for you. It’s cloudberry oil, but it also has vegan peptides and vitamin E which are great for scars and skin support. It doesn’t smell scented so it’s great for people who are sensitive to fragrance.

It works very well for over the Ole Henrikson Stregnth Trainer Peptide Booster Moisturizer or as an antioxidant booster under a sunscreen. This is so fun, and if you are looking for a skin care oil, you need to get this in your routine.

Summer Fridays Midnight Ritual Retinol Renewal Serum -$69

This is for a beginner who has never tried retinol. It’s the new midnight ritual retinol formula. This calms redness as opposed to creating more redness on the skin. They’ve also added ingredients like oats to make sure that it’s super gentle and nourishing. This has jojoba oil and avocado which mimics the oils our skin naturally makes, and it comes out in a really beautiful texture.

It’s also got hyaluronic acid and niacinamide. Cassandra does not have a dedicated hyaluronic acid step, and for someone who doesn't want a dedicated HA step either, this is a great way to integrate HA. This is a gentle, barrier-supportive retinol that you can use at night alongside a moisturizer or an oil.

This actually gives you the benefits of retinol without the redness and irritation that often comes with it. But, you have to see what works for you. But, based on Cassandra’s experiences, this is wonderful. It’s very gentle, and it’s absolutely a beginner’s bridge to advanced skincare.

Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Glow Glide Face Architect Highlighter - $48

Charlotte Tilbury bridges the world of effective skincare with luxury makeup. These highlighters lay over any skincare you put them over. Some powders aren’t pressed or created with a lot of quality, and they peel and ball up when put on top of a moisturizer or sunscreen. This does not do that, it’s absolutely gorgeous, and it gives just the right amount of glow. Even though this isn’t skincare, Cassandra can see it selling off of shelves.

April Skin Carrotene IPMP™️ Exfoliating Body Wash -$23

This is a body acne product from the K-beauty brand, April Skin. If you want to layer, April Skin creates some of the most effective serums. But, they also have this carotene exfoliating body wash. This is made to exfoliate rough and bumpy skin, and this has ceramides in it.

Ceramides make up the majority of the skin barrier. But, a lot of those acne products can be very stripping. So, even though this is a salicylic-based product, it's gentle and nourishing to the skin. This formula has three or four different types of ceramides that actually hydrate the skin whilst helping to get rid of the body acne. This is great for sebaceous filaments on the chest too!
