Supergoop! Zincscreen 100% Mineral Lotion SPF 40 PA+++
“This is a tinted sunscreen with zinc oxide. It smooths over pores so you may not even need foundation.” Supergoop is a non-nano 100 percent mineral lightweight moisturizer that delivers broad-spectrum protection and lightweight hydration. It’s perfect for sensitive, oily, and acne-prone skin.
Isntree Hyaluronic Acid Watery Sun Gel
This SPF 50 sunscreen is infused with hyaluronic acid, locks in moisture, and contains astaxanthin, gotu kola, fig fruit extract, and ceramide. The astaxanthin strengthens elasticity, provides nourishment to the skin, the gotu kola relieves irritation, and the ceramide replenishes moisture.
Juice Beauty SPF 30 Oil-Free Moisturizer
This moisturizer worked for Cassandra’s skin, it didn’t break her out, and when she rubs it in well enough, she can get rid of the white cast. It’s SPF +30, and it has organic ingredients like grape and pomegranate, soothing aloe vera, vitamins, and nutrient-rich sea algae.”
REN Clean Screen Mattifying SPF 30
Cassandra says, “this is easy to rub in. I would recommend it for oily skin, and it is 22% of zinc oxide.” This is a silicone-free, mineral sunscreen that protects from UVA/UVB and blue-light protection.
MyChelle Sun Shield SPF 28
“MyChelle Sun Shield SPF 28 is for more mature skin. Cassandra says the consistency is lotiony. It has a coconut base, and it’s awesome for drier skin.” This formula is made with aloe and allantoin and is made with 67% zinc oxide which reflects and scatters UV radiation.
The Ordinary Mineral SPF 30 w Antioxidants
This mineral sunscreen is one of Cassandra’s favorites. It has antioxidants like sunflower seed oil which is a great source of vitamin E & C. It’s very smooth to touch and it goes on nicely.
Cleure Daily SPF 30
Cleure Daily SPF 30 is dermatologist formulated, dermatologist tested and recommended. It’s water-resistant for up to 40 minutes, and it’s for all skin types including sensitive skin. It’s moisturizing, non stripping, non-irritating, and fragrance-free.
Dermalogica Invisible Physical SPF 30
“This sunscreen is silky, soaks in so well,” Cassandra says. This is for 1-5 fitzpatrick types, and there’s no flashback or tint, but it’s still broad spectrum. It’s 20 - 30% zinc oxide, and it dries down to an invisible sheer. It’s very pillowy, it goes on over moisturizer, and even under makeup. It does contain eucalyptus and lavender, but that shouldn’t sensitize anyone.
MAKEP:REM UV Defense Daily Sun Fluid SPF 50+ PA++++
Cassandra thinks this Korean, fully physical sunscreen is lightweight and applies to the skin like lotion. There are no organic or chemical filters that may irritate open blemishes.
Dr. Sam's Flawless Daily Sunscreen SPF 50
“This is a cosmetically elegant mineral sunscreen with no flashback. It’s a translucent moisturizer that is full-spectrum and has an SPF of 50,” Cassandra says.
Dr. Sam's Flawless Gossamer Tint SPF 50
Cassandra loves the spongey look this gives to the skin, it’s flashback-free. You can use this sunscreen as a BB cream, and it has two different tints.
Thinksport Mineral SPF 30
“This is an SPF 30 tinted sunscreen that feels like a comfy quilt. It has a pink tone, and it’s for Fitzpatrick levels of 3 or 4. It rubs in completely.”
EltaMD UV Physical SPF 41
This sunscreen is for the most sensitive skin types. It’s slightly moisturizing without being greasy. Cassandra says that it’s one of the best tints out there, and it’s very protective.

This a liquidy formula that blends down perfectly and goes on perfectly around the eye area. It’s a non-nano, 100% mineral, and lightweight formula great for acne-prone and oily skin.

“This is a great physical sunscreen for really deep-toned skin. It’s great for Fitzpatrick levels 1 & 2, protects the skin, and works with melanin,” Cassandra says.
