This Year's Holiday sales on Products for Dry Skin!

This is your skincare guide to Black Friday, Cyber Monday, and the Holiday season. In this blog, we’ve separated product deals for dry skin concerns. On Black Friday, it’s super easy to blow all of our money. So, this is a guide on how to navigate sales. Promotions and sales are an opportunity to purchase products that have been on your wish list for a while, and it can also be an optimal time for holiday shopping and purchasing in bulk. So, let’s get into how to create an economical skincare routine that works for you.

Dry and flaky skin can be a huge problem. When you have dry flakes, you want to remove them, but exfoliating can cause more dryness and irritation. So, what do you do? You can hydrate and exfoliate to prevent worsening the issue.

Shani Darden Skin Care Cleansing Serum (Good for Dryness & Dark Circles) - $28.50

Original value - $38

Let’s start with Shani Darden. This is expensive, but Shani Darden is an excellent esthetician. This is a serum that feels like a silky cleanser. If you’re someone who gets irritated by the stickiness of cleansers, this is perfect.  This has non-stripping ingredients such as oat and olive. This feels so good as it breaks down dirt, makeup, and hydrates the skin. This gently softens the skin so your next product can help remove the flakes.

Supergoop! Unseen Sunscreen SPF 40 PA+++ - $28.80 with code Cyber22

Original Value - $36

This is great for those who are dry and flaky. The texture of this is like Vaseline. It feels like a hydrating primer, but it is a completely sheer SPF 40.

Dermalogica Daily Milkfoliant Exfoliator (redness or rosacea) .45 oz - $16 (free shipping)

The milkfoliant has beta-glucans, and it’s extremely hydrating and calming. For those who are redness-prone and looking for exfoliation, the Milkfoliant is going to be the best bet. This is an oat-based powder exfoliant, but it also has corn, rice, and coconut which are super soothing and gentle. This is a powder exfoliant, and Cassandra doesn’t recommend mixing it in your hand. You can put it into a little container and mix it up with a brush.

This is great, but the SuperSolution from The Inkey List does even more incredible work on redness.

The Inkey List SuperSolution - $13.49

Original value: $17.99

If you have rosacea, this is amazing, and it also can be used alongside your prescriptions. Speak to your dermatologist, but azelaic acid is a main ingredient for treating rosacea. It’s super potent, but it also helps with redness. This can be a very safe OTC option for redness, acne, or pustules associated with rosacea. This doesn’t get gritty or sticky similar to other azelaic acid products, and it’s very smooth.

Dermalogica Hydro Masque Exfoliant + Good for Moisturizing (Dry Skin/Eczema) - $59.50 + Free Shipping

This has exfoliating bamboo beads. It has a great dispenser, and the little tiny beads of bamboo burst on the skin. They help to break down the flakes and remove them without exasperating any of the dryness. So, for people who have eczema, this is so good. This isn’t going to cure eczema given that it’s a chronic condition, but in general, it works for flakes, dryness, or over-exfoliated skin.

Summer Fridays Super Amino Gel Cleanser (Good for Anti-Aging Skin & Dryness) - $28 with code CYBER + 1 free sample

Original value: $35

This is gentle, effective, and it truly works well for more mature skin. Sometimes this skin type can be dry and lack ceramides. This cleanser contains amino acids, and even though amino acids don’t stay on the skin, they deeply hydrate the skin. Cassandra feels like the amino acid penetrates the skin more than other formulas. This cleanser is pH balanced, has 11 amino acids, and seawater.

Biossance Squalane + Zinc Sheer Mineral Sunscreen SPF 30 PA +++ -$32.30

Original value: $46

The squalane in this formula is derived from sugar cane. It’s 100% mineral, and it’s probably one of the best mineral sunscreens Cassandra has used. It’s sheer, it nourishes the face, and it doesn’t have a fragrances or other things that could irritate sensitive skin. Because it’s 100% mineral. So, it doesn't have any of the organic/chemical filters that could sting open blemishes.

Biossance Squalane + Omega Repair Deep Hydration Moisturizer -$37.50 with code GIVE30

Original value: $50

This is a wonderful squalane choice for dry or damaged skin too.
